Kinga Lendeczki is an aesthete and PhD student based in Budapest. She is currently enrolled in the Aesthetics Doctoral Programme of Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. In her doctoral research, she examines the social and political commitment of artistic and curatorial collectives that emerged in Ukraine following the Orange Revolution. She analyses the local characteristics of socially engaged art projects in the context of geopolitical, social and cultural changes, with a special focus on the impact of revolutionary events on the artistic and cultural field. She holds an MA in Communication and Media Studies and another in Aesthetics (2015) from Eötvös Loránd University. She worked as a project manager of several cultural organizations as well as international cultural projects. Among others, she coordinated the RomArchive Film Section and she was the project manager of the Studio of Young Artists’ Association (2017-2021). She contributes critiques and reviews to various online and offline magazines.
